The Titanium Security Tristar Basketball Camp is in its 30th year and continues to offer the best available Live-in / Live-out sports camp for boys and girls aged 6 to 18 years.
Catering for all skill levels, our specialised coaching team is headed by Camp Director, Al Green, and includes elite District Coaches and Players.
The Tristar Basketball Camp will help you develop your sports skills. You will be challenged to get the best out of yourself every time you play your chosen sport. As you get better, your confidence, satisfaction and enjoyment will sky-rocket.

LIVE-IN ACCOMMODATION
Live In accommodation is available in either the apartment style units or in the newly constructed Boarding house. The apartments are comfortable, modern air conditioned home units on the southern boundary of the school. Each unit has a kitchen, bathroom, laundry and lounge room. The World-class Boarding house only opened last year. It is comprised of single and double rooms with bathrooms shared between rooms. Kitchen and lounge facilities are also available.
To find Westminster, if you are travelling south on Marion Road, take either the fourth (Andrew Avenue) or fifth (Orkney Avenue) street on your right after the Oaklands Road/Daws Road intersection. If you are travelling north on Marion Road take the sixth or seventh street on your left after the Sturt Road intersection. If you are travelling from the city, travel west along Anzac Highway for 10 minutes and turn left onto Marion Road, travel south for 10 minutes.

Group Discount
Group booking discount for 5 or more, $10 off each camper, must be made in single booking registration.
When registering online, you have the option to pay by Credit Card, we use Paypal as our processing provider to ensure your security. You can also elect to pay be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), details will be provided on the invoice emailed to you should you select this option.
Please note that we require a deposit payment of $75 to be made upon submission of registration, either by Credit Card or EFT. Balance is due on or before 10th January 2022.
Your balance can be paid by EFT (if paid before 6th January 2022) or by Credit Card or Cash on the day of registration.

The information below refers to participant initiated cancellation only.
Cancellation before December 15, 2021 will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Definitely no refunds will be given after this date. Cancellations must be in writing to tristarbasketballacademy@outlook.com. Any camper who leaves the camp due to illness or injury will be given a pro-rata credit, good for use at future Tristar Basketball camps.
Yes, Parents/Guardians are required to sign this form before their child can participate in the Camp.
Tristar Sports Camp is conducted with a 1:10 staff to camper ratio. All campers are given a detailed induction which outlines that they are not permitted to leave the training courts unless notifying their coach. All coaches are accredited, have the appropriate first aid training and have had individual security checks carried out.
Absolutely!
Following check in, our staff and coaches will direct campers to their accommodation facilities at Westminister so they can unpack. At 12 noon campers and their parents are welcome to attend our free BBQ lunch until 1:00pm.
Following the BBQ, from 1:00pm, all campers will be briefed on the time schedules and rules and regulations for the camp. All campers are required to take part in a group photo which will be taken at some time during this day.
On 11th January, you will be required to check in between 10:30am and 12:30pm at Westminister School. When checking in, our team will confirm any medical or other special requirements, provide the camper with a Tristar Camp T-Shirt and show bag. Any outstanding payments will need to be finalised upon check in.
The final camp day is on 15th January. The Award ceremony will be held between 2.00pm and 3.30pm at Westminster’s Sports/Swimming Centre. Awards will be given to each group and include MVP, all star five, championship team, all defensive team, 3on3 champs, hot shooters award. Certificates of participation and group photo will be awarded to each camper. Campers dismissed from Westminster at 3.30pm.
On the 13th January we will be holding All Star Games at Westminster School. The games will run between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. All parents, family and friends are welcome to attend.
On 14th January, we will be holding our famous pool/ Games night. This is a night for all campers, their families and friends. It is held poolside at Westminster School and will start at 6:00pm and finish at approximately 9:00pm. Westminster School will provide qualified lifesavers to ensure that all games and activities in the pool are appropriately supervised throughout the night.
All Live-Out campers need to be collected from Westminster School by 9:00pm or earlier, but must get their name checked off with their coach.
Yes, you can request to be housed with a room mate. Alternatively you will be placed with another camper your same age.
Accommodation is provided using the boarding facilities of Westminster School with boys and girls housed separately with 24 hour supervision. There are several different accommodation options. Please refer to our separately headed Information / Accommodation section in this website.
Live-Out campers need to be dropped off at Westminster School every morning by 8:15am as buses leave for the various training venues at 8:45am on each of these days.
Evening training sessions (6:30-8:30pm) are only compulsory for all campers 10 and over. Campers under 10 years of age are encouraged to participate. Live-Out campers who do not participate in these evening sessions will need to be collected at 4:30pm from Westminster School.
All Live-Out campers participating in the evening sessions will need to be collected by 8:30pm. Live-Out campers need to be collected by 9:00pm following our Pool/Games Activity night. On the last day of camp all campers will need to be collected at 3.30pm at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
Yes, if sufficient notification is given Campers can be collected from a bus, air or rail terminal. A Tristar Camp official will be present at the terminal to ensure camper safety. A $20 fee applies. To arrange this service please contact us with arrival/departure details.
Tristar Sports Camp welcomes all ability levels. On the first day of camp, campers will be evaluated and then placed into groups according to their age and ability. Experienced and non-experienced campers alike will enjoy and thrive at Tristar Sports Camp.
Yes, Al will be there for the entire duration of the camp and will provide instruction and demonstration to Campers.
All campers are to bring their own sporting clothing, wear sport appropriate shoes, t-shirts and/or singlets, shorts and/or tracksuit pants, and ball, all clearly labelled with their name. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt which we encourage they wear to assist with camper identification.
Campers should also bring a water bottle, ankle tape, training towels, backpack, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a hat. Campers will also need to bring appropriate swimwear and a towel if they wish to participate in the pool party night.
Live-In campers will also need to bring their pillow, linen or other bedding, casual clothes for evening wear and toiletries.
All personal items and money brought to the camp are done so at your own risk. Any lost property will be held in the main office.
Drinks and sports drinks will be available to buy at the camp.
Live-In campers may also have the opportunity to purchase evening snacks/supper whilst at camp.
No, we will provide all campers whether they are Live-in or Live-out with lunch.
Yes, Campers enjoy three meals a day. Live Out campers can participate in all dinners if you would like to pay the $50 separate dinner package.
Snacks and Drinks are available during the camp, so it would be wise to provide your child with some money.
